Our Story
Baker, Mimi Chonnipa is the owner and baker of BlissPoint Bakery. Possessing a passion for baking throughout most of her life, she attended the Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School in Pasadena. It was during this time, that she had completely dedicated herself to learn all about the world of pastry arts.
With her education in tow, Mimi then stepped into the pastry industry, gaining baking roles with renowned 5 star hotels and restaurants that have included the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles at Beverly hills, Montage Beverly Hills and Spago Beverly Hills. Her impressive abilities in pastry arts would even take her across the country, where she had worked at Peninsula Chicago.
Unfortunately, as the pandemic struck the world, Mimi was laid off like many others. With an undying love for baking, she decided to starting her business. So while working from home and utilizing her degree in Business, she created her company, BlissPoint Bakery. Here, she makes uniquely designed, delicious cakes and pastries using only the freshest and highest quality ingredients, for Chicagoan, covering a number of their special occasions.
