Mimi Chonnipa is the pastry chef and founder of Blisspoint Bakery. With a lifelong passion for baking, she pursued formal training at the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School in Pasadena, California, where she developed a strong foundation in pastry arts and cake design.
Following her training, Mimi gained over 13 years of experience in luxury hospitality, working in renowned 5-star hotels and restaurants including Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills, Montage Beverly Hills, Spago Beverly Hills, and The Peninsula Chicago. These experiences shaped her attention to detail, refined techniques, and commitment to quality.
During the pandemic, Mimi took a leap of faith and turned her passion into her own business. From her Chicago-based studio, she founded Blisspoint Bakery, a brand rooted in craftsmanship, creativity, and the belief that every celebration deserves something truly special.
Today, Mimi creates custom-designed cakes using the finest ingredients, thoughtfully crafted to bring joy, beauty, and unforgettable moments to every occasion.
